Valdobbiadene, Veneto
Col Miotin winery was established in the early years of the twentieth century with grandfather Sante. First as a winemaker who sold his grapes to wineries producing and bottling wines, then with a small direct production for the local trade. Currently since 2010, the grandson Antonio Botega, produces his wines with his own brand “Col Miotin”.
The territory is in the Prosecco hills, located in Valdobbiadene, Veneto recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In this fairy-tale natural scenery, the most prestigious Prosecco sparkling wines are produced, resulting in a viticulture made difficult by the impervious position where these vineyards are located, which must be worked almost entirely by hand. and for this reason, more precious.
